Review : Yoogane Singapore

Ever since I saw this post by romanticomedy, I already swore that I must visit this place very very soon even though I have heard so much about the crazy long queue there. #yooganesg

I'm a lazy person and usually the last person to jio pple out for dinner. But i finally gave in to Yoogane haha 😝

See the queue.. Crazy right? This was prob only about 1/3 of the whole queue. This was when I arrived at around 8pm. My mum and @shopaholicdeb started queuing from ard 6.35pm and they only got in at around 7pm, so it was almost an hour. I've heard some who queued for more than 1.5 hrs.. Guess we were considered lucky already. Ya.. I was stucked in office and didn't experience the queuing lah.. Guess it was a blessing in disguise 😁😁

Apart from missing the queuing part, I also missed the "cooking" part 😩😩😩 it's already in this state when I arrived.

This is the chef's specialties – Seafood and Chicken Galbi. Comes in 2 sizes, this is the small size which is good for 2-3 person $48.90 and the larger size is good for 3 person @ $58.90.

I've been to Yoogane during my last trip to Seoul. They only have chicken and octopus galbi but not the seafood one. I'm a seafood person so this is definitely a πŸ‘ factor for me πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹

Yoogane chicken.. Haha so cute hor. This was given to those in the queue to keep them occupied, fold it while waiting. Again, I missed this part.

Let's take some pics first before we wiped out the whole plate of awesomeness! πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹

Photobombed πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Took another pic as the Galbi was not within the frame in the first pic. πŸ˜‰ @surerain

Seafood cheese fried rice.. Look at those cheese.. Aww πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ‘

They have three types of noodles – Our favourite ramyeon, sticky noodles and udon. Can order the combination topping with two types of noodles, vege and topokki and etc.

Ordered a second ramyeon πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ‘

A guy came over to cook our ramyeon for us πŸ˜‰πŸ˜˜

Tada! Looks as yummy right?πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ‘

They have an open kitchen to fry those fried rice.

Saw these Polaroids near the cashier when we went to settle the bill. After much hesitation..I put on my "thick skin" and asked the cashier if we can snap the Polaroid. The lady was very friendy and acceded to our request!😁😁

Here's our Polaroid..

@chloeyingen writing down the date on the Polaroid.

@chloeyingen – the little ambassador of #yooganesg hahaha (ok lah, the unofficial ambassador) πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Uob cards is having some promo now. If you're a UOB card member, do remember to bring along your uob credit card to enjoy the 10% discount.

My overall verdict!

I'll certainly be back again! Ok lah since I've never queued, I'm in no position to say it's worth the queue. So I interviewed @surerain, she said it's worth it haha. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Difference with Yoogane Seoul and Yoogane Sg?

I personally think that they are really comparable. The one in Seoul seems to be a little bit more spicier. So happy that we can get to eat this here in sg, no need to fly to Seoul to eat this. Thanks to whoever who brought in Yoogane to Sg fansπŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ‘πŸ‘

Enjoy the video! πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹
