Bought travel insurance at the 11th hour, always the case 😅
While waiting for the cab to head to the airport.
Pls pardon my hubs big big tummy😁
Always in a rush when I travel with my hubs. 😤
Woke up super early as he said we will head to airport at 8.30am then we will have breakfast at the airport.
It's 10am now, so here we are, rushing to the airport… Thanks to him for being so super "mo" 😣
Comfort is the key for traveling. 😉
Greetings from Chiang Mai! 🙏🏻🙏🏻
My virgin trip here..

The airport is pretty spacious!
Was walking around while waiting for my bro-in-law and sis in law.
Walked out of the airport to check out the weather.
Wow, it's damn warm too. 33deg, tot Chiang Mai suppose to be cooler? Hmm…
Kena blocked by the security as I wanted to walk back into the airport. Wah, all the exits are only one way direction.
I have to walk thru the baggage check lane to re-enter the airport. Yes, baggage check just because I was carrying a backpack. 😤
Finally checked in to our hotel.
Looks really hip and trendy 😊
Here's the location of our hotel! 🏩
The chairs are so unique 😍😍
Iced lemon grass drink, so refreshing!😋😋
And the cups have rounded base, so unique!
I love this chair!!😍😍
Our loft for the next 3 nights.
Very spacious too! 😊👍🏻
This hotel somehow reminds me of G Hotel in Penang cos of their corporate colour Orange 😁
Our breakfast place!
Though I love to explore the street food when I go traveling, I still love to eat hotel breakfast. Cos I get to choose lots of food, furthermore I can have as much as variety of eggs as I like 🍳🍳😋
Missing Roger who went out to search for food..
And he came back with ice cream for us 😋😋👍🏻
Courtesy of the bro-in-law.
Only 20 Baht, less than S$1 😁😁👍🏻
On route to some temple.
All thanks for the bro-in-law who planned the whole itinerary.
Just got to know that our hotel booking doesn't come with breakfast.. There goes my hope of eating hotel buffet breakfast tomorrow 😅
We were still pretty excited when we came to this temple, our first stop…
No entry, we could only look from the bottom.
Tot this was quite a beautiful sight.
Kinda trigger me to think of the state Nepal is in now. Many of their historical monuments were damaged due to the strong quake which has to-date too more than 3500 lives😢😢
The weather was such a killer 😅
Inside the temple.. Very grand indeed.
Some rules to abide too…
Robes are available near the entrance if you wear too little 😁
Very similar to Ang Kor Wat, we are not allowed to enter the temple if we wear short pants or sleeveless top. The latter doesn't provide robes though.
Cute little monks, one for each day of the week. Started with "Sunday" from the left..
This was at the Old City.
This was at another temple, sorry I really can't remember the name, I just knew that their temple names all start with "Wat".. 😅
The yellow flowers are so pretty!!
Just pretend that they are yellow cherry blossoms 😅😅
Photobombs everywhere 😆
This little monk was so cute!! 😍😍
This caught my attention due to its vibrant colours. These probably are new.
I sense peace 🙏🏻🙏🏻
We popped by to a roadside market. Other than this stall, the rest are mostly fruit stalls..
The three brothers kept checking back to this stall 😂😂
One stick which has 3 pieces of pork is only selling at 5baht, equiv to 20cts.
Even cheaper than China, each stick is around S$1.
I don't usually eat pineapples as I don't like the feeling of "cutting" my tongues..
But this was really good, very sweet😋👍🏻
Only 10Baht, i.e. Only 40cts, super cheap!
Don't know what are all these..
Our dinner place.. Hmm, think it's quite a commercialized place for tourists.
First dinner in Chiang Mai!
Cute display by a local bank at Central Festival. 😉
I was so tempted to get the tsum tsum shawl!😍😍
And I bumped into lots of snoopy!! 😍😍
