No hotel breakfast. So here's what I had to go with the bread that my bro-in-law bought. π
Good morning!!
Starting our Day 2 in Chiang Mai!
Just hopped onto our mini bus and we are heading to Chiang Rai!
Think the road trip will takes around 2 hrs plus.
Time to sit back and rest. ππ
First stop – Hot springs!!
Under this hot weather, don't feel like dipping into the hot water lah π π
Selling hot springs eggs..

The bro-In-law peeled the egg for me as I was too lazy π
It was yummy!!
What's on my head?π€π€
The sun was really glaringππ
ππ
Why your face like that one?π π
Off to our next stop – White Temple!!
After over two hours on the roadtrip, we finally arrived at our destination – Wat Rong Khun (White Temple)
Really very pretty!
We went during 12pm – 1pm, they were having their lunch break so we didn't managed to enter the temple.
This is not part of the main temple so we get to walk around this.
And the main temple is guarded by these skulls, so nice hor
Let me take a #selfie first
Yikes, can see my finger π
#wefie with the hubs but it's a failed one. Can't see the whole temple.π
Trying to act cool π
Made our wishes on this metal plateππ»ππ»
Goofing around while my hubs is taking pics seriously π
What is Wolverine doing here at the white temple?
With my in-laws
Strolling..
π· by the hubs
Lunch situation at Singha tea plantation in Chiang Rai.
These tempura tea leaves were really yummy!! πππ»
Fried mixed vege which looked really normal turned out to be really yummy too!
Fried fish was so so, nothing spectacular
The hubs was craving for pig trotters, no pig trotters so ordered these meat instead..
Another meat dish which was not of my interest π
Walked around the plantation after lunch.
Saw a tuk tuk and both of us got really excited so took a pic with it.π
The backdrop was so picture worthy ππ
Somehow I felt this photo looks so surreal, it looks as if I was super imposed into the picture π
Another pic.. Still looks surreal hor
This one looks even surrealππ
We finally came back to our hotel after close of 4 hours of journey on the road.
Came back to our hotel for a quick shower and then went to meet the rest for dinner. Night market and night bazaars are just nearby our hotels so it's pretty convenient.
Other than food, we didn't get to spend much in Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai as there really aren't nothing much to buy. π
Looks like I will have some spare baht for my next BKK trip hee..
Just saw the latest update on CNN.
The death toll has hit more than 5,000 for the Nepal Quake. And it is expected to hit 10,000. That's so sad.
There has been difficulties in sending those international aids to the affected areas. Hope this will be resolved soon.
