What a way to start a Monday morning.
Hope your mood won't be dampen by this gloomy weather. π
Met up with two of my ex-colleagues for lunch today.
Back at bread yard for a secret mission. π
Oh just learnt that they are going to start their online ordering service soon..
Here's the addy!
bread yard specialises in homemade bread loafs. I don't know much about bread but I was rather impressed with their passion about bread.
To stay focus and strive for perfection, they only bake 5 types of bread – Rye, Country, Walnut Oat Rye, Hokkaido and Multiseed Wholegrain. Heard their Hokkaido bread is quite popular.
Of cos bread yard is not just about bread lah, they serves sandwiches as well as all-day breakfast.
See.. Told ya they are very passionate with their bread π
They have open concept for you to view their bread making process as well.
One of their signature – Pork Belly sandwiches ($8) which is pretty reasonable for its portion.
I opted for one of their full platter – Norwegian ($13) again. Had poached egg this time round instead of sunny side up with extra sautΓ©ed mushrooms. ($2.50). ππ

HS ordered eggs & toast (served with Hokkaido bread), it's only $4.50 and she added extra sautΓ©ed mushrooms @ $2.50. So worth it right!
And we have gotta try their signature puddings.
Enjoy 20% off if you order between 2-6pm.
Here's the choc bread pudding which goes so well with the vanilla ice cream.
Love the minty taste in the choc..

And here's their banana coconut bread pudding.
Nothing to say, except that it's good! ππ»π
Our secret mission was to spring a surprise bday celebration for our ex-boss who now runs this cafe with her daughter and son.
The little rainbow cake we got for her..
We were done with our lunch and took some wefies while waiting for the ε₯³δΈ»θ§π
