Our Secret Mission

We were on this secret mission since last month.

It all started with a whatsapp groupchat from my sis-in-law.

She's planning a secret visit to Singapore during my mum's birthday.

Holding on to a secret is really not easy. 😅 The worry of blurting it out unintentionally is inevitable.

Our best decision is to keep @chloeyingen out of the loop as she's really bad at keeping secret, always let the cat out of the bag 😂😂😂

And my bro almost blew it lor

While on the phone with mum a few days back, he said he will be in SG in a few days time. Luckily my mum didn't catch that.. Phew 😅😅

So everything went as planned.

Told the mum the day before that I'll come over to pick them out for lunch today.

This is the surprise look of @chloeyingen when she saw my bro and family at our doorstep. 😂😂

Was trying to snapchat the moment and trying to signal her to keep quiet as knowing her, she will definitely scream with excitement lol 😂😂

Sorry, no more videos to publish as my mum was not properly dressed when the surprise happened. 😂😂

Don't worry, she's not naked, wrapped in her towel 😅😅

Asked mum if she was surprised. She said yes.

So yeah, it's a mission accomplished.

So next we went to meet @surerain and @shopaholicdeb for lunch at DSTLLRY.

Yes, even @surerain is aware of our plan and this is part of it too. 😂😂

Dinner at Ma Maison

Dinner situation.

Dinner with my inlaws.

It's a monthly affairs and the siblings will take turns to arrange dinner with the whole family.

Look at the number of pieces of menu we have to look through. Damn stressed 😅😅

Cottage feel..

Much so when you visit Ma Maison during the day..

Didn't know Ma Maison is already 20 years old..

Paella to share.. Major disappointment..

Taste more like fried rice than a paella..

Can't go wrong with escargots.. Still miss the one we had in Paris, cheap and big 😋😋

Have you tried fries with chocolate sauce?

Interesting combi I must say. Hubs said this is one of the best dish. Ended up ordered another serving lol

I can't appreciate the choc sauce with the rice though…

The rice is pretty so-so, love the texture of the eggs though…

The dinner wasn't that satisfying.. So we decided to go for some ice cream 😁

Concluded my Friday night with a scoop of durian ice cream! 😋
