Had wanted to have something light for lunch so that I could leave some stomach for tonight's feast.

But the niece was so kind for offering to cook noodles for me.

Actually she was just making full use of the opportunity as grandma wasn't at home then, if not she wouldn't have the chance to go near the hob. 😆

And she also volunteered to do up the dishes for me. 👍🏻👍🏻

Her team managed to clinch the the Grand Champion award in the Show Dance Performance category.

It's her first ever competition so our thoughts is just to let her earn some experience and exposure.

She's still very raw so we didn't really expect her to win any award in the solo category.

So so happy when she clinched a 1st runner up place in the newcomer category for solo girls (10-13 yrs old), along with two other solo awards.

So proud of her. Hope she will continue to work hard and improve on her skills. 😊 继续努力,加油!!

Playnomore Pop-up Store

Playnomore bags from Korea are now in Singapore!!

Their pop-up store is now at Raffles City basement.

They will be there for a period of 3 months but likely will continue to renew their lease.

The prices are so much steeper than Korea.

They do carry other brands as well.

These inspired Kellydoll are so adorable.

Was told by the sales person they are from a Japanese brand, thought No Faux were from Indonesia.

These were very ex btw.

Wah and they sell inspired L30 too. 😳

Twillies are provided when you purchase the bag.

The inspired rodeos are sold separately though.

It's one of their latest design. 😍😍

Set meal from $20 per person.. Not bad wor 😁

Skipped the set meals menu cos all of us don't fancy their soup of the day – Cream of Beetroot.

Yucks! 😅

We only realized that they have flaming cheesy soup after we have left the restaurant. 🙄

Ended up only me and my sis ordered lobster dishes haha

Here's my choice – Tangy lobster pasta, the pasta was cooked in aglio olio style which I like.

Though I love my pasta to be al dente, this was a little bit too undercooked and a tad too dry too.

The baked lobster saved the day though as it was nicely done.

The calamari doesn't really match the dish in my opinion. 😅

Oh well, think this is not too bad for a price of $17.95.

Can't believe they actually left out the bowl of fried vege fritters. Tsk tsk..

@whitechoco's choice was Spicy Baked Rice, looks really spicy to me. Verdict was 👍🏻 too.

The sambal sauce doesn't seem to be enough.

Overall, the food is really not bad. Especially the starters.

This onion glory is damn good too. It's a bit oily, too big a chunk and the batter doesn't seem to stick well with the onions.

Food wise, Manhattan Fish Market is really not bad.

Talking about service, it's really no good. Probably it's just one particular staff who happened to be the only one serving our section.

Her face is damn black lor. Every time we asked her to replenish our warm water, she will give that "what do you want" face. 😤

Van even suggested to her to give us the whole bottle so that we can top up ourselves. No reply, she just came, top up our cups and left. Damn rude this lady. 🙄

Since the staff's attitude was so bad, we didn't bother to ask them to help us take a pic.

Then Nad tried on the big bucket bag in Navy, she tried on the black with red interior the other day.

Too bad the bigger one is too big for a short frame like mine.

Then I saw the mini bucket with the same colour combi. 😍😍

Apart from the usual long sling, the strap could be shorten to this length for another casual look.
