Lunch @ Five and Dime // Happy 88th Bday Po Po

Hey everybody!!

So it's back to the daily grind.

Came home to a stack of ironing, like what I expected.

Luckily the hubs has already completed all the laundry, I'll certainly be very upset if I am to come home to a full loaded laundry basket 😂

Anyway, decided to leave my stack of ironing in a lurch first.

Back at Five And Dime for lunch after picking my niece from school.

My niece has been craving for their mentaiko pasta.

It's still as good. No wonder it's still one of their popular dish.

Decided to go a big brekkie instead. The toast is really thick btw. 😅

My eyes were immediately brighten when I saw the magic words "salted caramel" 😍😍

Hope they will make it a staple in their drinks menu instead of a seasonal item.

Some more random updates

Traffic condition in Penang could be really bad during festive period.

So we decided to walk from our home to the nearest mall for dinner.

Weather was pretty good then so we decided to take a few photos with our mum since we have full attendance that day.

So this is mum with her four children.

My brothers were not twins though. 😆

My first DIY project – My Hubs X'mas present

Was contemplating for a while what I wanted to get my hubs for X'mas.

Didn't want to get him any lavish gift cos he will sure nag at me since I'm on zero income now. 😅

Decided to DIY a gift for him since I've never done that for him (think not just him, last DIY was probably some school project😆).

Anyway, don't put too high an expectations on me cos my craft really sucks. 😅

See..something very simple to do..

Decorated a customised box for him.

So that he can keep all his barangs instead of just anyhow place on our dining table.

In chef theme since he enjoys cooking.. 😆

The other side..

Simply because his other hobby is fishing..

Okay, that's all. 大功告成!
