Always get the jitters when I'm visiting the dentist.

Feeling the same now though I'm not going to the dentist.

Cannot imagine having something inserted in my throat later. 😖😖

Told the hubs of my worry.

He said.. "May the force be with you."

Seated outside the clinic now.

Reached here earlier than my appointment time as I was hoping to skip the rain.

Another 20 mins to go.

And so I went through the scope on my throat.

Having a tube going through my nose is quite a weird experience. Am glad it's finally over.

"Wow" was the first word the doc said during the preliminary check on my throat.

Apparently the tonsillitis was quite severe now. Very swollen inside. No wonder it's so painful even after a week. It's painful even when I open my mouth too wide or when I yawn. 😓

Anyway, I'm glad that there's no abnormality other than tonsillitis.

Seems that the previous prescription of anti-biotics may not be strong enough for the severity of my case.

He advised to take another 5 days of antibiotics with higher dosage and observe first.

Oh well, if it does recur again, will then have to discuss if want to go for the op then. #fingercrossed

Quick ice cream treat @ Udders

Decided to go for a quick ice cream treat after picking the niece from her tuition. 😉

Ice cream is best for my throat now.

Gotta avoid many of my favourite food now though.

❎ BBQ
❎ chocolates
❎ durian
❎ and other heaty stuff 😩

Cookies and Cream used to be my favourite ice cream flavour.

Salted caramel has taken over the No.1 spot. 😁👍🏻

Dinner time!

Took ages to finish this bowl of udon.

It was tougher than what I expected it to be.

Glad that I finally booked my tickets back to Penang for CNY.

Thankful for my hubs and MIL for their understanding and always make accommodation for me to be back home for my reunion dinner.

The tickets are so ex though 💸💸💸. Had to pay $200+ extra than usual during this peak period.

Wanted to opt for budget airlines and turned out all the three budget airlines are $100+ more ex than SQ.

So it's not true that budget airlines are always a cheaper option.
