At Mamee!

Wanted to have a quick lunch here but have it a miss in the end as damn pissed with the restaurant staff.

Settled our lunch earlier at the oldest building at Jonker. It was established since 1673.

Had a shock of our life as we enter the restaurant.

I requested for aircon room and the staff led us to a room and then he switched on the air-con. And then he disappeared. We were left in a dark room and had trouble finding a staff taking our order. We were joking about us kena con into a 黑店.

Luckily the food turned out pretty ok and not too ex too. 😅

The mamak noodles wasn't too bad..

The pineapple rice wasn't too flavourful though..

Mum wanted to try malacca's chendol..

Verdict – Penang's is way better.

Their chicken rice balls was quite nice, at least the texture of the rice is pretty good. Love the chilli too!

We ordered two pizzas to share.. this is the seafood one.

Never eat a pizza with so many cheese, not that I'm complaining haha, it's quite nice.

Never ate a Hawaiian pizza with minced chicken before, was kinda expecting chicken ham or something. 😆

The queue was horrendous when we reached. Luckily we got our driver to help us make reservation one week in advance.

Ordered this Horlicks prawns for mum since she doesn't like cheese. Love it even though no horlicks taste leh 😆

Another one of their signature dish – steamed salted egg beancurd. Can give it a miss, not nice at all.

Fuyong egg which has lots of crabmeat inside, recommended! 😋👍🏻

Some pork dish which my bro and hubs gave good verdict on..

This was probably one of my favourite dish.. fried garlic squid. Damn nice. Also one of the recommended dish. 👍🏻

My hubs insisted on ordering this as the founder of Tong Seng started off by selling Fried Hokkien Mee in KL.

Verdict, KL's one is definitely better. Can give this a miss. Even my mum said she can cook better one haha 😆

Check out the queue situation after we were done with our dinner. It never seem to get any shorter. 😱

Stopped by for a chendol before we leave Jonker Street.

Verdict – Penang's Penang Road chendol is still the best. 😆
